Prepare broadcasting schedules and ensure that these are followed

those people with whom they come into contact in the course of their work

To work an average of 40 hours per week, bearing in mind that, on certain
occasions, it might be necessary to work longer hours

To familiarise themselves with all of the radio’s broadcasting and recording
equipment so that, as far as possible, each member will be able to operate effectively and
happily in several areas of work

To be open to suggestions for the development of Yatsani Radio and to
contribute by offering suggestions and comments when appropriate

To assist generously in the training of volunteers without
intimidating or belittling them

To be people of faith and commitment. As far as possible,
Catholics will be employed by Yatsani Radio in order to preserve its Catholic ethos.
However, it might be that a non-Catholic is the person best-suited to a particular post.
In such a situation, the Catholic outlook of Yatsani Radio is to be upheld.
The non-Catholic member of staff is, in no way, to be pressurised towards becoming a Catholic.
He or she must be given free practice of his or her religious belief, provided it does not
interfere with the normal and reasonable working of the radio station.
