Yatsani Radio The mission of Yatsani Radio is to spread God's love through unity and peace Yatsani Radio Audience A live broadcast Yatsani Radio’s listeners include, not only thousands of people living within shanty compounds, but also such people as the Vice President, the Inspector General of Police, at least one Supreme Court Judge, Members of Parliament, the writer of the current Zambian Constitution and other prominent members of Zambian society. Our listeners include many non-Catholics as well as Catholics and, we heard recently, even Muslims. We consider that, as a community radio station in which the bulk of the programming is done by the local community, we therefore have a special responsibility to inform, educate and help towards a society governed in justice and integrity. During 2002-2003 the 90m mast was moved from its original location in Woodlands to its new site alongside the newly-built studios. The height of the mast was increased to 120m, extending and improving the coverage area of the broadcasts. Home
