1. All broadcasts are to be in accordance with the teachings of the Gospel
and of the Catholic Church. Their religious and moral content will be subject to the guidance of
the Archbishop of Lusaka.

2. There will be maximum participation of the local Church in all aspects
of the life of Yatsani Radio.

3. All transmissions of Yatsani Radio are to be directed towards increasing
community harmony, unity and peace.

4. All sectors of the local Church community will have a voice on Yatsani Radio,
regardless of age, gender, nationality or economic status, provided their contribution is directed
towards the upbuilding of the Church.

5. Special emphasis in programming is to be given to themes that will help
and support the poor, marginalised and voiceless members of the local community.

6. Unity is to be fostered by the use, both, of local languages and of
English in programming. Those traditional practices and beliefs conducive to good Christian
living are to be upheld by Yatsani Radio at all times.

7. Whilst programmes transmitted by Yatsani Radio will not be exclusively religious,
priority will be given to themes which will upbuild faith, give hope and foster charity in their listeners.

8. Whilst recognising that some areas of programme concern will be,
of their very nature, political as well as religious, there is to be no involvement of Yatsani Radio in Party politics.
